Congress Majority PAC’s unique strategy will help Democrats take back the House and Senate in 2026.

Our ads chart a new path in political advertising for Democrats. In October, 2024, each ad focused on one issue – the economy, immigration, and climate change – and compared the Parties’ voting records. Our ad on the economy showed it performed better under Clinton and Obama, and that on leaving office, both Bush in 2009 and Trump in 2020 left with the economy near total collapse. Every ad concludes, Vote Democrat. 

In two special House elections in 2025, our ads attacked Republicans in Congress for supporting Trump’s extremist agenda in near lock step. Other ads attacked Trump and pointed out that the only way to stop this reckless President is to restore a Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress. 

Similar attacks will continue in 2026, and new ads will be developed for the mid-terms. We’re sure Trump and his Republican Yes-men will continue to provide us with plenty to attack.

We believe Biden’s vision of unity and getting along with Republicans was a misstep, and made him look weak. Recent polls show that a majority of Democratic voters want their leaders to fight back. Others show most want the Party to move more to the center. 

While most PACs support individual candidates and attack their local opponents, our ads are broad attacks on Trump and Republicans, and support Democrats by reminding voters of their voting record as a Party – for Climate change, gun safety, women’s health, ending tax-breaks for billionaires, and more. Further to our ad on the economy: after reminding voters how well it did under Clinton, Obama and Biden, the ad attacks Republicans’ oversimplified ideology of deregulation, pointing out that Bush’s deregulation of the banks helped cause the 2008 financial collapse.

All of our ads conclude with the title and call to action, Vote Democrat, and underneath we show the names of local candidates for Congress in local media markets. All our spots can be run in any tight race or swing state, and support the Democrats running for Congress in a new way that will persuade swing voters and be a welcome change. 

We believe the public is tired of the usual onslaught of local candidate attack ads they must endure every election season, and that most of the electorate is not well informed about how the Parties voted on the big issues.

In 2025, our fundraising and digital ad campaigns are being managed by Authentic in Washington DC. We plan to retain a major broadcast political ad agency to create new ads, including an updated version of CMPAC’s 2024 ad on the economy, which reminds voters that under Bill Clinton, the economy had a sustained boom for 8 years, and points out that Republicans’ anti-regulatory ideology helped cause the sub-prime mortgage crisis of 2008, after Bush deregulated the banks. It notes that when Obama took over from Bush, the nation was on the brink of economic collapse – but with a new Democratic majority in both Houses, Obama was able to pass unprecedented policies that brought our nation back from the brink, and sent the market to historic highs by the end of his time in office. It concludes that when Biden took over from Trump, the economy was again near collapse, but Biden’s policies resulted in 16 million new jobs, and inflation dropped to 2.5%, with the economy going strong.

Harris was ahead of her time in emphasizing positive messaging. The time for that will return when bi-partisan bills representing all voters are passed again. We believe Democrats will lead America’s return to functional, bipartisan government, but in the face of the present extremism across the aisle, we must fight back.  Our tone will be reasonable, never strident. Our ads will appeal to moderates in both parties, and to Trump voters who have voter’s remorse.
