Did Trump sell out our planet during his campaign for President in 2024, just to raise money from Big Oil? In the election year, Big Oil contributed over $400 million to MAGA Inc and to Republican candidates, and Trump repeatedly called climate change a hoax. They stood to profit, and when Trump’s war in Iran made the price of oil soar, the oil industry made additional billions. Those are facts. Is power is more important to Trump than people and our planet? It’s time for a change.
It takes 3 minutes to watch our reel of ads. After you see them, if you agree they will persuade people to vote Democrat, we are asking you to support our campaign.
We’ll run the Climate Change series over the summer during heat waves and hurricanes, and in the weeks leading up to the election. To stretch our ad dollars, we’ll only run our ads in important races where they are needed the most.
Contribute before the mid-terms in any amount, and please make your gift recurring till November. Donate at our website www.CongressMajority.org and together, we will elect a Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress. Because only Democrats will put Trump in check, and they are better stewards of our Democracy than Trump. Ikea has better cabinets!

CMPAC’S PAST TV SPOTS (2018 – 2025)
Our Ads for Two Special House Elections in Florida, Held April 1, 2025
PROOF OF CONCEPT: Congress Majority PAC ran a $120,000 digital ad campaign in the weeks leading up to two special House elections in Florida, both in deep red districts. Our ads contributed to nearly doubling the Democrats’ share of votes in both races, compared to the general election just four months earlier. With funding for a broadcast ad buy, the Democrats might have won. Watch all 7 ads in 30, 15, and 6 second versions.

Congress Majority PAC’s $120,000 ad campaign helped nearly double both Democrats’ share of votes, compared to the previous election 5 months earlier for the same seats. We have proof of concept, and now we are ready to scale.
We spent $120,000 for our ad buy in digital media only, in support of two Democrats running in deep-red Districts in Florida. Both were special House elections held April 1, 2025. One seat had been vacated by scandal-plagued Matt Gaetz, and the other was left vacant when Trump picked Mike Waltz for his Cabinet.
In the First District around Pennsacola, Republican Patronis’ margin of victory was only 15 percentage points – a full 17 points lower than his predecessor Gaetz’s margin of victory in November, just four months earlier.
In the Sixth district in Central Florida, the Republican won by only 14 points on April 1, compared to his predecessor Mike Waltz’ victory by 33 points in November.
It was no accident that Trump waited until the day after the election, April 2, to announce his sweeping tariffs.
These ads attack Trump as extremist, reckless, and dangerous to our economy and the nation. “It’s time to put the brakes on Trump,” is a recurring theme, and every ad ends with the message, “Vote Democrat.”
The themes in our ads above are, “Don’t send another yes man to Washington,” “Wanna play an April Fool’s Day joke on Trump?” and, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”
Next on the reel are three spots we made for the 2024 Presidential election.
Our new ads for 2026 are being made by a top political ad agency, and will be posted

For our campaign in 2026, we not focus on immigration. Our resources will be used to run ads on the cost of living, on attacking Trump using his own words, and attacking Republicans for supporting him in near lock-step.
Not least, we’ll attack Republicans for undoing much of Biden’s climate change bill, passed by Democrats in 2022. As our ad points out, “Not one Republican voted for the bill.”
But in 2024, our Immigration ad made an impactful argument in the weeks before the election. In it we attacked Republicans for killing the strongest immigration bill in decades. The ad points out, “Even though the bill contained much of what Republicans have long wanted, they feared the bi-partisan bill would show Democrats as strong on immigration. So House Republicans killed the bill, and the crisis at the border continues… With a Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress, Washington will start working again. But with a divided government, Republicans will keep causing gridlock for political gain….”
We believe Congress Majority PAC’s ads would have helped persuade undecided voters to vote Democrat. The voiceover is authentic and tinged with sadness, and would have resonated with many.
Our ads were not widely seen in 2024, as we had just begun. That will change in 2026. Together we’ll win back the majority in House and Senate for Democrats and put Trump in check. Please Donate now.
Good Leaders, Bad Leaders
Our first TV spot, made in 2018, is compelling and powerful, with a strong first 6 seconds that entice YouTubers to watch the entire 60 second ad (instead of clicking on Skip Ad). A remake of it would bring many voters to the Democratic side. In 2026, this ad would do well as is in digital media.
Immigration, 2024
We won’t run this ad in 2026, but in 2024 our Immigration ad made a powerful argument for Democrats ahead of the Presidential election that no one else made. This ad did not remind voters of Trump’s brutality to immigrants in his first term; instead, we made an argument that resonated deeply with Republican and undecided voters. If this TV spot had been seen widely in 2024, we believe that together with our other ads, it would have changed the outcome of the election.
AD: IMMIGRATION SCRIPT
In his October 2, 2022 My Take for CNN, Fareed Zakaria pointed out that Biden must fix immigration, or the US may one day veer to the far Right. He points out that Sweden and Italy both accepted waves of immigrants from Syria and other nations, and their liberal immigration policies caused the collapse of voter support for the Center-Left. Immigration helped elect far-right leaders in both nations; the one in Italy even had a connection to Fascism. Since 2022, Europe has seen the rise of more far-right leaders. Zacaria concluded that the Biden administration would do well to take the immigration issue seriously. The immigration crisis will help Republicans win, unless a message like the one below can be widely seen. SUMMARY: The Senate voted for a strong bipartisan immigration bill, but House Republicans killed it for political gain, and deliberately allowed the crisis at the border to continue. We have a seasoned Democratic strategist and ad agency ready to make an ad buy in battleground states. Our Immigration spot is ready to run, and three more, on The Economy, Climate Change, and Gun Control, will be ready this week. The required text will added, “Paid for by Congress Majority PAC. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.”Immigration
SCRIPT
We see a montage of news headlines and images of the border crisis. Titles showing what the immigration bill would have done: “1,500 new border agents,” “Increase judges to process asylum claims faster.” We see long lines of immigrants in a caravan, families crossing the Rio Grand with children, crowds massed against the border wall. [V.O.] In February the Senate passed the strongest immigration bill in decades. Even though the bill contained much of what Republicans have long wanted, they feared the bipartisan bill would show Democrats as strong on immigration. So House Republicans killed the bill, and the crisis at the border continues. If Democrats win in November, they’ll pass the bill that House Republicans killed. Democrats want to fix the border crisis. With a Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress, Washington will start working again. But with a divided government, Republicans will keep causing gridlock for political gain, and good bills will not get passed. America can’t afford that. In this election, Vote Democrat — and this time, vote.Vote Democrat.

The ad points out that most voters don’t have the time to look at complex policy in detail, and many voters, including Republicans in Congress, adopt an over-simplified ideology to quickly get a grasp on today’s complex issues – for example, regulation is bad, and taxing the rich is bad. This spot undermines these oversimplistic views, and points out, “They have led to disastrous government in the past.” These arguments are also made in our powerful 60 second TV spot, The Economy.

Our ads for the Mid-terms will focus on inflation, the cost of living, and attack Trump and Republicans’ voting record on climate change, gun control, and more. Our climate change ad is also powerful. Click above and keep watching to see the entire five minute reel.
Only Good Leaders, Bad Leaders, below, is not on the reel, and we remain proud of that spot, our first in 2018.
Our ad on the economy above points out, “Under Clinton, America had 8 years of prosperity. But Bush deregulated the banks and helped cause the 2008 banking crisis. Obama took office with the economy near total collapse, but he passed bills that sent the stock market to historic highs. After Trump, Biden took office with the economy again in crisis. Biden brought inflation to 2.5% without causing a recession, and he created over 15 million new jobs… For a strong economy, vote Democrat.” Our updated ad now in production will Trump is imperiling the economy even more than his predecessors. Our ad agency will have the updated ad ready before May, 2026, and it will be posted here.
We deliver powerful, innovative messaging to elect Democrats. Our TV spots will run in battleground states and tossup races, and help Democrats win in November. After you watch our ads, make a donation to help build our warchest for the coming election now!
NOTE
We are also planning a longer version for digital and social media and contemplating the following insight, if our ad agency agrees:
The stage was set for the crash of 1929 by President Coolidge, a Republican ideologue who loosened credit, which allowed people to buy stocks on margin. The Great Depression was prolonged by his successor, another Republican ideologue who stubbornly believed in austerity. Tax revenue had greatly declined, but Herbert Hoover insisted on a balanced budget.
Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt turned things around after he took office in 1933. He passed the New Deal, a huge expansion of government spending, focused on providing jobs for Americans and eradicating poverty.
Democrat FDR’s policy and vision is widely credited with bringing our nation back from the Great Depression, and bringing tremendous prosperity back to America.
Democrats Obama and Biden also passed policy that brought the nation back from the brink of economic collapse.
History repeats itself, and voters need to be reminded of who caused the economic crises, and who fixed the problem.
OUR STRATEGY
For the mid-term election in 2026, improved messaging is what Democrats need most.
Our ads will run in battleground states and key races across the country, delivering clear, compelling messages attacking Trump and Republicans, and affirming Democrats for their track record on the economy, climate change, the cost of living, and more.
Our 2024 spot on immigration let voters know that Republicans killed the strongest immigration bill in decades for political gain. We are remaking our 2024 spot on the economy for 2026; the 2024 ad pointed out that America had an economic boom under Clinton, but George Bush deregulated the banks and caused the financial collapse of 2008. Obama took over with the economy in a major crisis, and led the nation back to a strong economy. But when Biden succeeded Trump, the economy was again in a major crisis. The updated ad for 2026 will conclude with the damage Trump is doing to our economy, and affirms Democrats’ policies that have repeatedly restored prosperity following a downturn in every recent Republican Administration.
The ad points out that Democrats are guided by pragmatism, not ideology, and the policies of Democratic Presidents have led to prosperity since Democrat Roosevelt led America out of the Great Depression in the 1930’s. In contrast, the policies of Republicans, guided by an oversimplistic “don’t regulate” ideology, have repeatedly led to economic crisis.
CMPAC’s ads will be reasonable in tone, centrist, and not strident. We never forget who our target audience is: swing voters. The kindly grandfather actor who hosted our 2018 ads sent the right message.
That said, we’d like to think big and invite President Obama or Michelle Obama to host one or two of our ads. Every ad will end with this title: Vote Democrat.
We’ll be nimble: during a heat wave, we’ll run our powerful climate change ads.
In the days following a school shooting, we’ll run our powerful gun control ads. Our ads about inflation, the economy and Roe v Wade do not need an event.
The ads above are intended for broadcast, and digital versions will be placed on X, Facebook, Instagram, and other advertising platforms, including text messaging, to persuade voters.
We envision major ad buys in tossup races and battleground States; ads will be tested with focus groups before they run. Taken together, our powerful ads have good potential to propel Democrats into a majority in both Houses.
It’s time to fight fire with fire. Congress Majority PAC’s ads will attack Republicans as a group. Biden looked weak when he called for unity, and some key elements of his agenda did not pass. It was a victory for Republicans. Recent polls show that Democratic voters want their leaders to fight back.
We need to win in November, and we can. Trump blasts Democrats at every turn, and many Republican politicians follow his lead. His base listens and becomes motivated. But most Democrats in Congress have not attacked Republicans as a group. Congress Majority PAC’s ads are needed to do that.
SUMMARY: We can win over undecided voters and possibly many more, but only if strong, clear messaging is used. Reasonable attack ads like ours will light the way. Millions of swing voters and disillusioned non-voters in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin will rally behind our ads, and many who see them will turn out and vote Democrat.
In sum, Congress Majority PAC’s ads can help Democrats take a majority in both Houses in November and in 2026.
